  • 2 cups of dried chickpeas (pre-soaked, soaked in water for 6-12 hours)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3/4 cup parsley
  • Quarter cup of coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of chickpea flour
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Half a teaspoon of paprika
  • half a teaspoon of sea salt

How to Make Fat-Free Falafel in the Oven?

  • Finely chop the onion, garlic, parsley and coriander leaves.
  • Blend all the ingredients in the food processor until the chickpeas are finely shredded.
  • However, be careful not to overdo it.
  • Using your hands, shape the falafel mixture into small balls.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 30 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Turn once after the first 15 minutes.
